Disco Vibes EP4

The Mettle Music Collective was collaboration between producers Dave Tracey, Mark Wadsworth & Nic Conef & was where things began for us back in 1999, with several releases on the highly respected deep house label Toko Records.

Slip & Slide is a track from the vaults, which has never previously been released, but now with a bit of spit & polish we're pleased that it will finally see the light of day. Once again this track features all the staples of proper disco music; rhodes, strings, brass, guitar & live bass which all fit eloquently together to produce a real feel good dancefloor vibe.

Spirit was originally featured on our very first 12" release on Toko & we were lucky enough to get the help of legendary deep house producer Si Brad (Attaboy, Salt City Orchestra etc) on production duties. With it's funky live bass and hypnotic rhythm guitar, this one fit's in nicely to the Disco Vibes and is available here as a digital release for the first time.
