Alessandro Oliviero aka Monodeluxe began his career as a house music producer, collaborating with some of the most highly respected vocalists within the house music scene such as Barbara Tucker, Michael Watford, Michelle Weeks, Fonda Rae & Gerideau. His f irst 12" releases appeared on high profile house labels such as Azuli, Defender and Groove On, before he developed and changed his music style to produce nu-jazz and lounge music for release on his own label Monodeluxe Music. Casting his musical net far and wide, Alessandro continues to release consistently soulful music for leading labels such as (Harley & Muscle's) Little Angel Records, Perfect Toy and of course Mettle Music. Featured here are two new incredibly cool and classy Monodeluxe productions which are previously unreleased. 'Get It On' has a real funky swagger about it that straddles the line between deep house, disco & jazz. While 'Blue Part 1' is a deep, evocative Summer chillout classic in the making.˝
