Mettle Music presents Summer Vibes EP

The Vibes series has always touched on the evocative spirit that Summer brings forth, from hot latin rhythms & cool, jazzy grooves to life affirming disco deepness. So to really get the Summer started I fine style we a series of blisteringly hot tracks in this new series to run throughout the summer..

The first EP see’s the welcome return of our Italian friends The Halftones. Once again Alan & Giulio show the eclecticism of their varied musical influences & re-present them with a new twist.

Here they take us back to Studio 54 with the string drenched Salsoul disco vibes of 'Catch Up' then fast forward to the early 90's with a clever mash up of old skool house samples & nu skool sensibility on 'Fishbone', before rounding things off with a nice, relaxing feelgood stroll in the park, circa Summer 2007 with the easy listening Bossa of 'Ramblas'.

Yup, Summer has officially arrived folks…
